Wheat Grass

Has anyone ever fed wheat grass to their torts? Why I ask is I found a great buy (I think) at our local oraganic grocery, 12"x 4" sheet of this for .99. My stars are now devouring a 4x4 chunk.

RE: Wheat Grass

I feed it to my torts, when I can't let them outside. That is a good price for the grass. I pay 2-3$ for a 4"x4" cube.

My Leopards liked it, but my bigger Hermanns male has yet to touch the half I sunk in his enclosure almost 2 weeks ago. lol

I bought some and my sulcata will eat it. That is a great price though.

RE: Wheat Grass

Yes, I thought so. Today was fruit day for the forest torts so I stopped to pick up fruit and then saw that. So I gave it a try and the stars love it. They also have seeds for it there, so I'll be growing it in flats for them.
