The roaches here get larger than my baby tortoise.
I use the "PILL" bugs..Rolly Polly bugs. I think I have 6 in there.
Seems like a good tip.

Is this what you guys refer to as a pill bug or rolly polly bug

Yep, sow bug and many other common names are also monikers of this ubiquitous isopod.

A creature that's been around even LONGER than tortoises!
The one's I find here in Florida are tiny.

Grow to about 1/2" in length here. Thousands of them. We call them woodlice. Harmless though.

I was on here a few weeks back posting about the little bugs too. They showed up abruptly and got really bad. They were all over the food and water dish. It was gross! Now just given a bit of time and diligent food scrap and poop cleaning, things seemed to have found a balance. There are some, but not the infestation I thought I had.
