You just gotta love a nice round carapace showing over the top of a kiddie pool! ;)

Where did you get the kiddie pool ? Yours doesn't look like the ones for 5 or 10 dollars. London is going to need something bigger at least by next month his bucket sort of bowl is just small and now he can see over it and barely turn or walk in it like he used to. Now he spins in the same place.
Thanks in advance!

Just walked out this evening...and found this...MONSTRO! has been at it for less than an hour! Am I going to interfere? Hell no! The direction he's digging is towards the south end of my neighbor's pool 15' away with concrete providing all the stability needed to avoid cave-ins! ;) It's almost as if he knows...DSC_0066.JPG DSC_0065.JPG DSC_0067.JPG

I picked it up at a lumberyard that also sells jungle gyms off Fairway in Industry...just before you hit Diamond Bar! I should think you could find one down there somewhere. They're heavy duty...not at all flimsy! And it set me back about $30 if I recall correctly! It is a Little Tykes btw....

After staying in ALL day yesterday...he's back at it! Love watching the dirt fly! I should point out that that section of the yard is primarily clay...so he's getting his exercise...and amending the soil for me at the same time!

MAN!!! He is WORKING at it! Love those photos of the dirt flying!:p
After I put him in for the night...I took a shovel...and worked at it myself a little bit...that clay is hard and goes down a solid three feet. If he keeps at it...he's gonna put on some serious weight this summer! :)

Also...some of you may recall last year I posted some shots of MONSTRO! after a nice growth spurt. I pointed out for all his great size at such a young age (he's 5 1/2 years now) that he had such tiny legs! Well, a year later things have changed. With all the digging and carrying around that huge shell, his legs are mammoth right now~ I've posted a photo from a year ago and a today shot. Maybe you don't see a lot of difference because the head to legs ratio isn't that big...but his head has grown a lot as well! You be the judge!
