Double layer enclosure

What I'm thinking about having is a 6ft by 2.5ft enclosure for my Russian torotise and at the enclosure of that enclosure I will have a ramp that leads to another 6ftby 2.5ft enclosure. So the total area is about 30feet squared. Is this idea ok.

If you can pull it off properly, then absolutely yes!
Many members here have double decker enclosures which work out fine.
32 feet is considered adequate, so you're pretty much there.

With each step come back and show us or tell us what you're doing, ask questions, the guys are happy to answer and between them and your own efforts your tortoise will thrive and be happy and so will you.

(His last post, a couple years ago, was talking about an outdoor enclosure he built. So I'm guessing he scrapped the double decker idea)
