I always feel confused about leopard tortoises' gender. I know majority of males have long tails and "V" shape shell notches; and females always have short tails and "U" shape notches.
However, I can't determine the gender of the Gpp leopard tortoise in pictures below. Its shell is 13''. However, I have never seen it mounted on other tortoises, or anything came out from its anus. (My 10'' Gpb males mount on anything) Its plastron is not very concave, but I can feel the concave slightly.
Could you tell me your thoughts please?
Thank you so much!
