Hello All!

I have been battling a picky brat of a redfoot for about 6 months now and we are making progress.

I have been mixing Mazuri that is moistened with 50% water and 50% Turkey & Sweet Potato baby food that has ground up dried grape leaves, shredded pumpkin and sometimes a bit of fruit (banana, raspberry or blackberry depending on what is available). I rub a thin layer of this on all of his greens and he will begrudgingly eat them.

My question is - How long does Mazuri keep after it is moistened?
I would like to be able to mix up the mush weekly. Especially on weeks that I travel and my boyfriend is the tortoise tamer.

I have been making this mix every other day and offering a green salad (with various add ins) without mush on the odd days. It gets picked over and he takes out the red lettuces sometimes, but mostly isn't interested. I've tried offering just salad in a tough-love stance and I am sick of wasting greens. He is a bit on the thin side so I figure I'll keep up the mush/greens combo for now and focus on tapering the amounts.
