Hey everyone!

I made some changes to my outdoor enclosure. I added the logs as some sight barriers because I was told that it would get him out of his bush and make him roam around more. And it definitely worked. He loves exploring for new weeds to graze on.

I also dug a hole in the bottom right corner of the enclose to add an in ground water dish. I've only seen Scutes in it once, but from what I can see, he knows where it is.

The only other thing that I've added is a daylily. I was hoping that it would grow around the pot and provide some cover, but I doubt that will happen any time soon.

Overall however, I'm really pleased with Scutes' new enclosure and I think he is too!

I really like it and I agree with what you said about the sight barriers.

Beautiful enclosure! Did you dig down where the walls are so your tortoise can't dig underneath and get out? Also, do you have a top to keep out raccoons? Thank you.

No, I haven't needed to dig the walls into the ground because so far, he hasn't tried to dig or anything near the walls of the enclosure.

I don't have a top yet because I just take him inside at night. Also, I live in a suburban area, so unwanted critters in the daytime isn't an issue.

Sorry for responding to this so late!! :p
