My sulcata Nadine likes Mazuri. She will eat quite a bit when I soften it with water and mix with greens. However, if I leave it after a few hours, she doesn't want to touch it again. Offer a fresh pellet, she'll eat it.

Does it get icky fast after being moistened?

My humidity is too high in there for that to happen. Plus I don't use the L.S. version. I could not smell it being "sour" but then again, my sniffer isn't what it used to be I know. Seems Nadine can tell though.

Once it is wetted, it will even start to go "off" in the 'fridge in about 48 hours.
Luckily, one of my Redfoot likes to eat it FUNKY like that after the others have had their fill.

I just soak and put out enough for them to eat at one sitting. I don't leave extra sitting out all day.
One pellet with greens in it is one sitting when you are 62 grams, LOL! I had to get 2 pounds, so I hope I won't run out fast :D

I am introducing them to the box turtles, so I can justify them. :)

I had a Gulf Coast Box turtle for while and she would eat the Mazuri when I mixed it with roaches or earthworms.

These are three toed. I am sure they will eat it. They eat a different brand right now but they aren't suitable for a sulcata.
