An accurate way to measure your tort is to push the guy head first up to a wall so the Carapace touches the wall and measure from the wall to the back of the carapace in a straight line, do not bend the measuring device to the shape of your tortoise. Sorry not sure, I've never had brown bugs.I have a question on tiny brown bugs that I find in my torts food dish when I take it out to clean. They are about the size if tiny ants but are not ants. I only find a few at a time. Have not seen them on torts or crawling around. They are to quick to get picture of.
