Me too. Better come find me and say hi. I'll be the ugly one sitting next to Neal.

I'm planning on it.

Wanna carpool?

If you drive down to me, I'll drive the rest of the way. Or if you are flying, I can pick you up.

That reminds me… I gotta book my room.

I had a few things pop up the past couple of days and I don't think I'll be able to make the whole conference.

I should still be available to meet up for a lunch on one of the days, or both.

Sometime earlier in the fall someone suggested a TFO meet-up within the greater TTPG event. I'd be glad to procure a round of adult beverages if that meet-up might happen at a venue that serves such. Oh, and if you wear a TFO t-shirt.

My flight arrives at 3:30 today. Anyone else going to be there today early enough to meet for a drink or dinner?

I wasn't able to attend the conference, but was able to break away long enough to meet up with a few TFO members for lunch. As brief a time as I had, it was still a really good time with uplifting discussions. Any TFO members who can, should make plans to attend the next event. The forum is a great place to share thoughts and techniques, but there's really nothing that can benefit our hobby more than face to face discussions. Thanks for letting me sit at the cool kids table @GotTort, @Markw84, @Tom and @Will.

I agree. Talking tortoises with other tortoise nerds is the best part of this whole conference. So many great people!

Looking forward to the Forsten's presentation from @MichaelaW tomorrow morning. I already know I'm going to love it!

Yeah, many talks feel like filler for the talks with interesting content. Maybe I am too tortoise-centric? The Map turtle talk was super great, bring eceoclogy into the talk and making light of some of the obsertites of some science machinations.

Meeting and talking with @Tom , a brief handshale with @Neal meeting @kingsley and @MichaelaW has been a great. Not to mention master enclosure builder @Markw84 . Many other's on TFO and via the spectrum of Facebook pages and groups are here. Meeting people I met on the phone or even by writting letters (paper and pen put in an envelope with a stamp and everyting) from pre-interweb times has worked out too.

The south end of a north facing mule attitude is near none existent here, but my nephew cuations if it's no one else in the room
