Elephants ears

Hi, can’t seem to find out if it’s ok to try my little horse field with ‘elephants ears’ ?

You would have better luck using the scientific name. That doesn't look like the elephant ear plant I know. At any rate, the elephant ear I'm familiar with should not be offered to a russian tortoise.

It almost looks like a type of begonia. Does it bloom?
