Hey,

I have been noticing some changes in my tortoise behaviour.

Digs is a 7 year old female living on her own. She has become very restless over the last few months walking up and down one side of her table and never seems to be still or basking.

Another problem I have seen is that she will go in the the corner of her tortoise table and just keep walking in to the corner. Also she seem to be eating a lot less.

We have been to the vets and given a clean bill of health we are very confused as to why this is happening.

The size of her table is 6foot by 2foot. She has plenty to climb on and explore. I have also replaced her light and heat and all temps are correct.

I have tried moving things around to change it up a bit but has made no change.

Am hoping someone can give me some advise.

Wish I could help you, but I just had the same problem with my young one . He didn't eat and just kept walking. Adter 10 days he has quit and is back to normal. Hopefully yours will too.

The problem is that your enclosure is much too small. Your tortoise requires a minimum of 34 square feet, or an 8x4foot enclosure.

8 times 4 is 32, not 34.:p

But yes, the enclosure is a bit small for an adult EDIT: Hermanns.
