Hello, thanks for approving my account, i live in Brazil and i have 3 redfoot tortoises, 2 males and 1 female. I have these tortoises since 2013 and i never had big problems related to them, but now i can't let the 2 males together because when they are together in their enclosure they fight violently, biting each other and the one named Boo tear off the leg scales of the other named Bob, and Bob's legs start bleeding, i separated them +/- 3 weeks again but 3 days ago i tried to let them together but they started fighting again with the same results. I need urgent help to know what to do because when i separate them the one separated can only be left in a place where the ground is concrete wich is very bad for them. What should i do to make them stop fighting and if there is no way to solve this problem, do i need to build a new enclosure? They are well fed and the original enclosure has 3x2m and has 1 little lake 1 small tree and 2 caves.
And can the weather and temperature make this? It is making about 30-34 celsius degrees in daytime and about 27-28 degrees at night.

(sorry for my bad english)

Your males were not but are now sexually mature and things will never be the same again.
You'll need separate enclosures for them or a very, very large enclosure with many more females to keep them occupied.
Lots of hide areas. Lots of space.
When I had two males, they lived with five females. And I have an enclosure of several hundred square feet.

Oh and thanks for the reply , I think i will build a new enclosure, what one tortoise you think i should put in the new enclosure? One of the males is brother of the female (Bob), the one named Boo is the more agressive. Now they are temporarily separated, one day I leave one next to the female and the next day the other.

Now that the males are sexually mature, it is likely that they will torment the female mercilessly. Tortoises should never be housed in pairs.

Looks like to need to build two more enclosures. Then all of your tortoises can live happily ever after.

Thanks for the reply. The problem is that i have space for only one more enclosure : this is their enclosure now ( i know the awning to cover the food isn't good but im thinking in something else that can protect the food from the sun and look good)

It seems that you may need to ask a friend to keep one of the males for you, or put him up for adoption to a good home if you don't have any more space.
I like your enclosure!

That is a problem.

I think the awning to cover the food is innovative and smart.

Thanks for your compliments about the enclosure. I have decided i will build a new enclosure in the same style of the old and put one of the males there, i know the other male will continue to annoy a little the female, i will try to find a solution for that. Thank you all.

Redfoot will often do just fine in groups of one or two males and a bunch of females. But a harmonious group is never a certainty.
In my own experience, I still found that I had to remove and isolate/rehome certain individuals that just wouldn't co operate.
In my opinion....Once you've found that balance. Don't ad any more tortoises.
I wound up with a back yard and a patio full of pens for "outcast" animals that either wouldn't because of behavior or couldn't because of health issues or size, be in my main enclosure.
It took some time and luck to find the seven that lived peacefully together.

Oh Wow. They are really nice. Pity the new one doesn't have a tree for shade. Can't wait to see how it looks once you have finished doing all that you want to do.

Unfortunately it is rain station here where i live so its really bad to build things like a new cave on the second enclosure and a small lake, it rains almost everyday since 3-4 months so the enclosures are basically the same thing, the lake of the old enclosure is leaking so i had to put a dish there like the one of the second enclosure for them to have water, when it is finally a sunny day it rains by night damaging the repairs :(. When a long lasting dry weather arrives i will do everything as fast as i can.
