We purchased this little one as a cherry head and want to know if it is a cherry head or what. Any thoughts or ideas are greatly appreciated. 
Trying to figure this one out.

I'm not really the one to advise you because I don't know much about the RF tortoises, but my GUESS would be that yes, it is a cherry head, even thought the head is more yellow/orange than red. Just look at those legs!

Can you explain how you know it is not a cherry head?
I have no experience with RF torts but am eager to learn about all species.

Classic Northern Redfoot plastron markings and head color on a very distinctive little tortoise. The heavy leg scalation is of special interest and is reminiscent of animals I have seen from Suriname.

There was a post or even two here about how to spot a Cherryhead.
I'm on my phone and unable to easily search for it. But it's here somewhere.
And if it's a Northern, even better. It would be a top 5% Northern. It's beautiful.

trying to get that info now but there are so many posts. Something about leg spurs and extra scutes on the nose.
