Haaaa, funny thing is that it didnt take too long for our Sully to devour, just that i had the camera on time lapse. Total resl time was about 15 minutes. Yes... 15 or less. The love to eat, graze, eat and eat. :)

Greetings all. Mother Nature decided to drop a few inches of rain all at once in the greater MD VA DC DEL areas. Bad for weekend cookouts and outings, but great for the plants, animals, amphibians and reptiles, including our Sully.

Here are a few pix of Sully enjoying our back garden pond... #HappyTort

Greetings All. Thought I would provide another quick YouTube video of our Sully enjoying an afternoon snack during his grazing time. Been hot, humid and wet here in MD this late July early August. It's time to post some new, updated weights.

Greetings all.

The warm Summer days are slowly being taken over by chilly to cold Autumnal evenings and mornings. It's soon time to relocate our Sully to his smaller indoor enclosure, but until then, he continues to enjoy the outdoor bounty of late blooming dandelions, perennial hibiscus, rose of sharon, and of course the enduring garden grass, plantain and other misc greens. Sully continues to put himself to bed in his warm humid night box, and has learned to play peek-a-boo until he's ready for a breakfast, lunch or late evening stroll.

Here are a few pix of Sully this morning as he checks the weather report to see how his day will be.

Even though he's our Sully, one thing for other new sully keepers, is to see how even his beak is. No jagged edges or crooked parts, a nice even bite. So easy for our sully to take bites and eat grass, weeds, etc, blade by blade.
