My best guess would be some kind of anemone.
Anemone blanda
looks very similar, but it's not native in USA (or maybe it's an escaped ornamental plant?).

Hmm that does look right. I don't know how it got there though. It's pretty so I'll leave it there for now. Pitty it's not tort safe.

I got another that I'm having some issues IDing. This is coming up in a wooded area of our property. It looks similar to several plants in my online search. Wanted to see what y'all said though.

I believe it may be a fringecup.
Does this look correct? Anyone have experience with this plant?
