My grandmother has a 30-35 lb female Sulcata and wants to know if it is safe to plant a ginko biloba tree near her enclosure? Meaning, if she eats anything off/from the tree, will it be harmful to her Sulcata? Thanks y'all!

It will probably be fine. The tree is not toxic and in fact has some medicinal purposes. The seeds can be quite high in protein though.

I have 2 that I started from seeds and I had to put wire around the trunks to keep the mountain tortoises from eating the bark off and killing them They never showed any interest in eating the leaves by themselves, but they would eat them if mixed with other food items. I have never seen my sulcata(s) eat the leaves.

.....so the bark is highly toxic?
