Well, tomorrow is the day I will receive my two new babies. I can not wait. Have to pick them up at the airport. I will get pictures when I get them home!
Two baby Sudanese SalcatasHow exciting. What species are you getting?
Where are you getting your baby Sudanese from?Well the babies are on the way!
The babies are home! He sent me three! #1 Is D 8 Dozzer, well, Dozzer for short, he decided he did not want to stay in the plastic container he was in. I opened the box and there he was, staining at me. #2 & 3 don’t have names yet. But, here they are!
We have a mess of downed trees and power lines. Debris all over the roadways. Sirens from emergency vehicles are non stop. Still quite a few areas with no power. Local shelters were on emergency power for a while. Very dangerous around here, especially for outdoor pets and livestock.Yes, we are getting it now. Everything is iced. Sure glad my torts came in yesterday!
At the moment, they are small. I have a lot of land here. I will be building a night box, maybe a shed, for nights and winter. At the moment I also have two larger ones inside also but they go out for the summer. Going to be a lot of work, but, it is worth it. These are megestic animals in my book and worth the effort.Wow.....you are going to have your hands full there in Ohio. Can’t imagine three full grown Sullys to keep from October through April or May.
Nice looking babies there - good luck.
