Names Mike. Ive lurked recently while looking up info for my new baby Sulcata. The Sulcata's name is Votum which has the meanings: vote, wish, hope, vow, desire, aspiration, solemn promise, and promise to God. It's a cute little tort and our new family. I built it a 6ft X 4ft turtle table to be happy. I hope to be around as this seems like a great community. Glad to meet yall! Ill post pics tomorrow or next day (I dont have internet at home as we are too far for anything but overpriced satellite). A couple questions tho if ya dont mind. Any tricks to keep humidity up and at proper levels in its home? Should I make a grazing area on turtle table, made up of grasses?

Well, we're glad you're here too! The more, the merrier.

Read all the threads pinned at the top of the sulcata section. There you'll learn about keeping the enclosure humid (Cover the top), etc.

Welcome to the forum, Mike! I am also a new Sulcata owner, and I found a ton of great info on this site. All of the people here have been very helpful as well! Best of luck to you and Votum!
