This is what it's all about!!!

Have looked for the Bolivian locale since early 2014 - finally found a trio.. 1.2 ( 1 male / 2 females ) late summer 2016. The larger female was not 11" SCL when she laid her first ( Aug. 2017 ) clutch of 3 infertile eggs - these 3 "adults" are all still young and small.
This first pic shows a mature male next to the [ size 12 ] foot of the breeder of these! They are true "Giants".

Following is her digging..

Covering up -

And her 3 big eggs!

The entire process took a good 2 hours.. and when I took her off the covering of the nest to dig up the eggs.. she continued the motions instinctively .
Here's hoping these are fertile - the male has been going thru the motions. ( 2 other males were found this summer )

The 2 males.. 8+" - in quarantine over winter -

This is "820" [ acquired on Aug. 20 ] -

And Beaute - they like black grapes -

The 'breeder' claims they could be 'mature' next year (?) - hope so!

A plastron shot also -

Nice work Terry. I bet you're quite pleased. Keep us up-to-date on the babies.

Thank you.. you know I'm pleased - it's been another 2 years since first clutch.. a year since second ( both infertile ) - so she just may have produced
for us this year!

The smaller 2008 hatched was found scratching around in the "table" - in the nest-box now.
Updates as they occur!!!

"820" is acting like he's a stud!!! Introduced him to the young 1.2 and he almost immediately fell in lust!!!

Forgive me for reviving an older thread but I was curious if your Bolivian's ever successfully produced any hatchlings?

I'm crossing my fingers that your crew have had some luck with producing some offspring.

Not yet - glad you "revived".. thank you! @MikeT307

820 has joined a couple females in Texas.. haven't heard much about how he is doing?

Have added a third 'smaller' female. Coming out of the box 3/10/2020 -

Right at 7" SCL -

And that "no-marbling" 'all-black' plastron -
