My russian tortoise wont eat

I had this same problem and got my tort around the same time as you! My tort enjoys dandelion greens, kale, collard greens and carrots/squash as a treat. If you look up “Russian tortoise” in the forum there is a ton of good information about a healthy diet so please check that out! I stole this picture from that thread

This is common. Your tortoise just got moved to an entirely new environment and needs time to adjust; some need more time than ever.

Tortoises don’t need food every day, like humans do; they can go a long time without eating.

You do want to make sure your enclosure is set up correctly. Incorrect heating can slow them down so they don’t eat. Post some photos in the enclosures sub forum to be sure it’s in good shape. Getting the enclosure right is more important than food right now.
