I'm sure most of you will celebrate this day with your family...some will be alone...and for that I am sad...Happy Mother's Day to all...I have family...but I live with strange family...042.JPG
and more...004.JPG
And Smokey...

And Smokey's cohort in crime...Simon

Smokey and Simon got together in the wee hours of the morning to give me the bestes Mother's Day gift ever...

I'm hoping he's the one under my stove...anyway...Simon killed the mouse...I reached down to toss said mouse outside...it seemed like they really didn't know what to do with it...

but Simon took him and to make a story shorter...they tossed him around cat style and I left the room...later I remember the mouse...so I went to see...I guess Simon is done with it...

thanks ever so sweetie...

Happy Mother's Day from your babies who don't look like people...

Well, I thought I was my tortoise partner's, Will's, tortoise wife, but since I received Mother's Day greetings from him I guess I'm also tortoise mom! Never heard from my actual son, though his daughter called MY daughter and wished her happy M. D. Maggie: doncha just sometimes feel invisible?

That's why I prefer my animals...at least they are all glad to see me...for whatever reasons...lol

I feel the same. But I have a fabulous daughter who does her best everyday, and for that I am truly grateful that she is with me. And I am thankful for my tortoises and dogs! Happy mother's day!

My daughter is also very thoughtful, but she's local to me while my son is in Texas, and has a very large family and extended family, a lot of whom live in his house, so I cut him some slack. . . It's only a day, afterall.
