First picture is just a further picture so you can see my lamp. It was just a regular lamp that emits no benefits other then to light Squintz’ enclosure so he can cycle through day and night. He does however spend about 5-10 mins everyday outside(SoCal) with me. The second picture(close up) I do have a uvb light in there but haven’t turned it on since during my test trails(before Squintz arrived) it pushed my temps to mid-high 90s plus I realized when he did get here he was not a fan of the brightness and would hide away constantly until I switched lighting(again he spends time outside to get natural UVB). Also rigged a CHE on a thermometer when it gets below 80F. The ambient temp is between 83-85F during the day and 79-80F at night. Humidity I keep at around between 84-88% a fogger turns on as soon as it drops to 79% so the top layer has some time to dry a little before it moistens everything. I also spray his shell throughout the day and started building a simple outdoor set up so he can spend most days outside in the summer while bringing him inside at night. I haven’t noticed if he’s been drinking out of his little pool so I soak him daily for about 10 minutes where I actually see him drink. Oh and Squintz is a cherry head red foot. Any suggestions? Feedback? He seems to be doing ok in there but it’s not like he can tell me. Thanks in advance. Also no longer use the fireplace it’s basically just decor now. I’ve had him for just over a week.

Your little dude looks to be more red. Very beautiful :) Squintz seems to be more orange which I didn’t expect but doesn’t change how I feel about him. He had a rough journey an overnight shipping turned into 2 nights and 3 mornings. I just want him to be healthy.
I think his shell starting to signs of marbling which is cool. I don’t think he was getting shell sprays before me because his shell was a little lumpy and I doubt those extra shipping days warped his shell that much.
