1)What type of tortoise do I have?
They said it was a Testudo tortoise but was not specific with the exact kind.
2) can you tell if it is male or female?
3) I am using a 75 watt basking light bulb and a 26 watt uvb bulb is that okay?
4) what should I be feeding him?
I have him on the same diet as my rabbit.
dark greens, carrots, cucumbers, zucchini, fruits, etc and I switch it up every week. Is this fine?
5) I soak him for 10 minutes a day is that okay?
6) can you tell how old is he? Thank you
7) I plan on buying him the tortoise enclosure I have attached as a picture. Do you think this is fine?
8) what is the best subtract to use?
9)should his enclosure be mist to have Humidity?

thank you to whom ever helps me answer all these questions. Thank you thank you thank you

1. russian tortoise
2. a tiny bit sure it's female..? not 100% sure so don't expect me to be right ?
3. a 65 incandescent bulb will be fine, you should take him outside for uvb for a few hours a week, unless you'd like to invest in a uvb strip light
an arcadia t5 uvb strip light/bulb is great
4. here's the list of safe foods, they should have mostly weeds though. no carrots or fruits. the cucumber and zucchini since it should be fed as a treat
5. 30 minutes daily would be best
6. no way telling without a hatch date. could be 5, maybe even 20+
7. nope, think bigger. a 8x4 enclosure would be fine
8. coco coir, orchid bark
9. around 60% humidity would be fine, so yes

here are some helpful posts
