Never prayed so much in my life. Thought this little guy had a respiratory infection, so I quarantined him in a big kiddie pool. I know tortoises are capable of climbing, but he was in there for a few days so I thought nothing of it. This morning I saw it was a false alarm and I planned on returning him to the group. When I came back, he was gone! What are the chances?! To paint a picture, I live on 2 acres surrounded by woods. I scoured the woods and all along the fence line and nothing...until I looked under a box right next to the pool. Time for someone to stop being lazy and build a quarantine pin.

He won't be going back in a kiddies pool that's forsure
Just so you know. They can climb straight up. Mine years ago climbed a tree. He got in the crotch of a branch and sat there probably wondering now what. The tree was in his enclosure so he really didn't gain any ground on escaping lol.
