I'm no longer the groomer without a dog

It's been years and years since I've had a dog and I didn't think I wanted one, but recent events led me to this bundle of trouble.

This is Echo. She is a Pyrenees/husky mix. Both of her breeds really shine through. She is quiet and reserved - until she has an opinion about something! Very independent personality.

She is still at that stage where she sleeps a lot, but please check up on my sanity in a few weeks ?

How on earth did you last so long without a canine companion? I'd be totally lost without my Misty girl! Your new side kick is awfully cute!

What a cute puppy! I, too think I'm ok without a dog as I have torts, turtles birds and cats. But I'd really love a mini Aussie Shepherd

Thanks! I'm really grateful for her.

After my last dog passed, life threw some challenges at me and I couldn't responsibly own one. My job helped me get through. When a dog is booked under my name, there's a chance they are getting hugs, maybe french fries. Especially the naughty ones ?

Some credit goes to my old guinea pig. Like the tortoises, he's not a cuddle pet. But he is always excited to see me come home!

Before lockdowns, a neighbor who had had golden retrievers said he wasn't sure he would get another one to replace the one who had just died. Next time I saw him, he had another dog. Animals help us cope.
