Do you have a place for him to go hide into?

Hi,
My tortoise wasn't sleeping the past couple of weeks and I realised that due to the heatwave the air temp in the room his tortoise table is was over 37c. He was up at 3am banging about. During the day, he was out-of-sorts, due to poor sleep, didn't want to do anything (not usual at all).
Now, I'm bringing him in at 11pm, when it's darker and cooler and he goes in a small cereal box that I pack with soft cloths and then put it in a cardboard box in the coolest room in my house.
I get him up at 7am and he's not moved all night. After only 1 good nights sleep, he was back to normal. He basks for half an hour and is then going about the garden all day.
Also, make sure you offer plenty of water and soak regularly.
