I've recently moved to enclosures with sliding glass fronts, as I needed to be able to stack them with the number of juveniles I have now.

My problem is, its hard to open them without just pressing my palm against them, which means I'm cleaning the glass after each time I open then.

Does anyone have any suggestions on handles I could buy to put on the glass doors? or even a design idea, that I could 3d print.

The sliding glass doors are similar to these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077QHSYWX/?tag=exoticpetnetw-20

I use these. While a bit expensive, I like the look of the aluminum. The lip is a little oversized to directly install on a 3/16" glass window, so I had to glue some thin basswood to the inside to provide enough friction to keep them on the window. They used a very rough chop saw or something to cut the 3" pull from the overall extrusion, so a little finish sanding using a belt sander was necessary.

Would be too thick for mysetup, however I can fab some nylon ones like that, that would probably be thin enough. Thank you

We use these on our Beardie enclosure: Prime-Line F 2549 Self-Adhesive Window Finger Pull, Clear Plastic,(Pack of 2). They stick to the outside of the glass. Just make sure to clean the glass really well before attaching the pulls; they don't stick well to fingerprints, oil, etc.

Different ones have different heights; some will pass between glass doors—some are "raised" enough to prevent by-passing. This is a link to some other styles

I have the same exact issue! I'm going to put small cabinet handles on mine with flat head screws so they don't rub. Mine has a wooden border.

Buy stick on shower door handles that have a recessed area within which you can place your fingers to push it open.
