Not sure if I mentioned it here I had the best plan going into the Holiday. Kerry was bring her 15 lb turkey over to cook in my over while she helps me paint my room!

I know, right?

One big master bedroom 18x16 with vaulted wood ceiling, all was painted. Three total colors, 3 days of prep. I called my Handyman on Sat to come over tomorrow for the crown& base mouldings. I CAN do it, but it will look like I did it(not a good thing) so Darren gets the call.

I did the ladder work and spent an hour painting a single skylight...what a pita....rough wood inside the S/L sucked up a gallon! The cool thing was how Kerry managed to flit in and out of the room, while doing most of the work admittedly(in truth, she painted nearly everything below 7' aff), WHILE cooking a 7 course meal that was a home run on every course! Even the cranberries were fantastic!!

How? Supergirl....and I am smart enough to treat her like a Queen!

Okay.....Matilda likes dark meat. Come on, I had to see, so I laid out two equal pieces, one dark, one light......she made a beeline to the dark piece. She ate the other later on.

Hope everyone had a great Holiday, I'm just glad to be at work, where I can REST!

LOLOLOL!!! I thought I was the only weirdo to do that...I only tried it out on 4 box turtles, all ate the white meat first, 3 Russians ate dark and Maggie ate none...

I can't stand the painting prep. And I can't do ladders.
I feel for you.
My tortoises didn't get anything special for THANKSGIVING

A FOUR box turtle- Turkey-test....cool....maybe the color does not matter...as you're smart so I'm sure you set it up to be a "fair" choice.....that's neat to know. What, No turkey for Mags? Your writing reminded me of the toe song......and this little piggy got roast beef and maggie got none...aww, I hope it was b/c you don't favor the fowl.

Turkey, the other white meat, or was that "Baby"?

Zero, I'm right there with you. I would lie on nails before volunteering for the trim but it I kinda have to at my house or I'd feel guilty, at least a skoosh. Kerry usually does the most work though and I'm not lazy.....she's just an overachiever....it's cool though, it's hard to let my ego get beat up too much when I'm typically the beneficiary. LOL
