Well for some reason I cannot open the adoptions page...so Yvonne will move this I hope...I am looking for a home out of the PNW for my Western Painted turtle. Unknown age and he is healthy and fun. I just can't give him the proper home. I have him in a 100 gallon tank in the house and I think someone can do better for him. So moderators please put this where it belongs. I'm having problems with my new computer... 100_5317.JPG

Wish I was closer. I hope you can find him a good home.

I just think he deserves a better home...
They're pretty cold tolerant. Maybe you could get one of those in ground ponds from home depot and then fence it in. If no one takes interest by summer(which I'm certainthey will), and if your comfortable with shipping, I could possibly take him in once I'm done with some renovations.

They are native to the PNW and because they are a threatened species they are illegal to own here

That's too bad. I didn't take that into consideration, but if no one reaches out by Spring I'm game.
