Cold winter is a challenging time when it comes to the best care for my torts. Well watched temp. In hides is a must. As well as daily warm soaking after meals. I soak under uvb from the sun and light. Supervised visits with mate for stimulate exercise and natural behavior drive. Weekly weight checks as well as poops and urites. Keeping happy and healthy until summer and can enjoy a nice bask. I’m up for the challenge and reaping the benefits.

If it's cold and they can't be outside then you are using the sun uvb that is coming thru glass. The uvb is being blocked. If that's the only source then you need to get a uvb light
