How often do you soak? If not every few days, increase the duration & frequency of soaking. How much space does it have, inside or outside.?

He gets a soak every other day for the past several weeks. He has a small (temporary) tank, and it was definitely dusty the other day. (and yes, it is glass; we tried him in a large habitat and all he did was pace frantically as he is used to looking at everything going on in the room; he is a happy tort). He is kept inside unfortunately as we have a major tick problem outside. I have taken care of the dryness/humidity for now. I was originally looking to rehome him as I was only just getting him out of his prior situation. Will be upgrading his 'tank' to something much larger, I believe it is only 36x18x18, and is similar to what he was in prior to my acquisition of him.

He does need at a minimum a 4x8 foot asap. They need lots of room even though they are smaller.
He's not a happy tort if kept in too small of an enclosure. Rehoming might be the best for him if you can't give him what he needs.

I noticed a little puffiness a couple/few days ago. He got a partial beak trim when I got him a few months ago, he will get another when he goes to the vet. He eats mainly Romaine, and also some Spring Mix usually without the spinach and kale. Organic when it is available. Calcium sprinkled a couple times a month which I believe I should increase. Reptisun purchased in January this year. I will double check distances and temps.

I would like to discuss further with you, however I need to leave for the moment. Thanks!

The diet needs to be improved. Much more variety is needed. Romaine has little nutrition.

It looks like he has an over grown beak. Please check side on if overlapping over bottom jaw if so contact vet or experienced reptile shop for a trim and check claws same time. They need to roam please review light, heat and enclosure space. I extended speedy inside space and he has a fab large outdoor space that had been used daily this week due to UK heatwave . They need water 24 x7 and fresh greens and veg daily. Please read care sheets and hope puffy goes away with changes as they are tough little shelled warriors so something is amiss.

Greens/weeds yes, no veggies unless you are referring to the greens
