Can someone verify if this is normal or not. I have a 5-6mo old baby Leopard. He is on and off eating. He seems very light. When I tap on the top of his shell it sound hollow and the under side seems soft. When he eats its a few bites and he walks away. He sleeps a lot. He doesnt move around the cage a whole lot. When he poops it just comes out as lettuce that went in. I am trying to get him to eat Mazuri feed or even Rephashy. HE wont touch them. He occasionally eats kale and dandeloin greens. He is in a vision tank (very large tank) that is sprayed to keep moisture up 2-3 times daily. basking temp is 98-100 this is at both ends and the middle or sides is around 80-85 temp. He has two UVB lights. 3 UVA/Basking lights and one just heat bulb. He has two pool areas. One is very shallow and a dish he can get into. The other is a little larger and deeper with water but he never goes into it. I soak him 1-2 times daily in warm water. The UVB bulbs are separate from the basking light and they are tubular and hang down some.,we have basking lights at both sides to keep the heat up in the cage. The edges and middle and under his caves are all lower in temp.

From what I can see, he needs more foliage items, to feel more secure and less exposed. He needs a bigger dark hide with a small opening so he can really hide when he wants to. He needs the correct temps, humidity and diet. @Tom .Can we see pics of the tortoise?

Also, is the cage both dark and warm at night? It should be.

It is dark under the log. We have the correct temps, humidity, and diet.

This is likely, but we'd need more info to confirm:

After reading that one, check this one out:

Is there a chance he can pull through? He is a little stronger and at times he eats well.

Temps should never be below 80 day and night all over. The basking should be 95-100. The humidity needs to be 80% day and night which misting will not do. You need to get the substrate wet/damp not misted.
Only one basking light should be needed. All lights need to be off at night and ceramic heat emitter s used for night heat.
Digital thermostat and humidity gage should be used at tort level.
A bigger variety of a diet should be offered, chop it up small pieces at this young age if he doesn't want to eat much. He should have food available all day long.

I tried to give more of a variety he doesn’t try much. I try collard greens, kale, red and green dandelion greens, aloe, cucumbers. I can try other stuff but we are in Ohio. Not much choices. I tried wheat grass he won’t eat that. I guess I have to get a humidifier for his cage. But the humidity stays pretty high we soak the repti bark daily. Temp and humidity gauges are tort level and temps are good

No humidifiers needed if the enclosure is closed. Lights/heat on inside?
As for food, you have to be creative and persistent. They don't take to new foods right off the bat. But you have to keep trying them and find creative ways to get him to eat them. Mixing tiny pieces with whatever he likes so he has to try the new to get his fave, etc.
