I love the little hut with the grass roof. I've seen those in pet stores, but I'm wondering now if I could make one myself. ?

Yeah, I'm definitely planning to make one that my Russian can't climb up! He's always providing me with a challenge.

Hi I am sorry about that. My Herman's tortoise would have done the same thing.. try a wooden box with an opening big enough for him to walk into, they so love to feel secure in a darker area..

But I live the enclosure.. I hear that most tortoises rub their noses raw but mine don't. I'm new to the forum and can share my enclosure that I had a riend carpenter build with a plexi glass side on one end.
