Agreed, our oldest Timmy constantly tries to climb out of his enclosure at one and half years old. After excretion and bathing, he roams around our living for a long time and then rests nearby me on a hand towel. Our tort is attached to people. Occasionally he soils the carpet, but we sanitize it with disinfectant wipes. Timmy is very observant and alert. He knows when we walk past him.
The youngest Timmy, has a different personality at 8 months old, still sleeping a lot. Also, likes to walk around the living room and follow big Timmy and nipping his legs.
No regrets, they are nice pets, but a lot of up keeping.
Hello!
I noticed you have a Western Hermann's tort? Possible. I would like to know what you use for his/her diet. Looks like you mix in some muzuri in there as well. I am expecting one in June.

I use dandelion greens, escarole, and endive as his main salad. I always put zoo med grassland tortoise food and a mix of dry herbs on top of the salad. As far as muzuri, I don’t give to him everyday, more like once a week treat. The calcium power is also provided once a week.
