They don't need shell conditioners! No tortoise does. They need hydration from water, a good diet, good substrate, sunlight/a basking spot, uvb from being outside or a tube, space to move.

Thank you . I have all of that covered. But I was just reading online that once in awhile coconut oil will just help the shell not to loll so .. dry sometimes..???
I will stop using it. Thanks for the advice.?

The best conditioner is water, by drinking it and soaking in it. People who advertise this stuff just want to make money, because they know people like you want the best for their tortoise. Just think of it as they don't use oils etc in the wild either. Oils can damage and prevent water being absorbed by the shell. Wild tortoises have the best shells, smooth and good growth(sure there always exceptions).
