Hello, a beautiful tortoise but it seems to me that she needs more humidity. The shell is pyramided. You can only stop this pyramiding with more humidity . Sorry, only an advice from another aldabra keeper ( me ).
You can soak him every other day perhaps. Aldabras love a "muddy pool" with ver wet substrate. When it is warm enough in the enclosure such a muddy pool is no health problem. Have you read the threads of @ALDABRAMAN in the aldabra section ? He keeps a herd of adult aldabras in Florida. Beautiful creatures and beautiful pics and videos of them. And they all like their muddy pool.
I have thought about making him a small one when he gets a bit bigger from a kittie pool by putting it into the ground and makin a shallow mud hole. I just got two small ones im
About to post a video of them as well. I got mine off of Sam from Florida iquana and tortoise breeders number 55 is extra perfect and smooth

Though I am living in Germany I love to receive Sam`s newest e-mails when he shows his aldabras that are for sell and I saw some videos of him on YouTube. But our member Aldabraman has the bigger and more beautiful property. His tortoises live in a tortoise heaven on earth !
I’ve seen some pictures of his property on some of his postings looks to be a spacious beautiful bit of land. Does he hatch all his aldabras at his own property?
