He is a Petco tortoise. When they first started around 30 years ago. Now I realize he was wild caught. But anyway about 2-3 years ago he became a fussy eater. Losing weight. Withdrawn ect. I took him to the vet and they did a feeding tube. He had it for about two 1/2 months. 3 feeding a day. It sped up his metabolism and gave him all the vitamins he needed. He ripped it off one day and gave me a fright! By then he was eating healthy food again. I guys figured that it was better than the feeding tube. He is doing well. Really well for such an old tortoise.
He always had a overgrown beak. He was ex from pet co. It is much better now. Most pictures are kind of old. It’s a slow process to fix. However I promise you he is not neglected. Thanks for caring.
