Steps.... I fill bowl 1 with shallow warm water and let Speedy soak for around 15 mins he moves around and drinks.
I then prepare bowl 2 with shallow warm water and move him over. This normally triggers urates followed by poo.
I then prepare bowl 1 again with fresh shallow warm water to rinse and go over his shell with toothbrush and let him soak further if time allows.
I return him to his enclosure with a plate of fresh leaves waiting.
Soaking is down to the individual, but I thought I would share my set up as it works and has been easy to achieve 3 times a week for years.
