sulcatas have not evolved to eat fruit. Dont give them fruit. A little bit is not harmless, but it will mess up with the tortoise's system and it really is not needed. (not that it's good as a suplement or better or that it enrichens them, it's directly that they really don't need fruit in their diets).
Grass.. grass grass and more grass, and once they grow old, hay, hay hay hay and more hay!!
3 or 4 bites of strawberry in 9 months is not going to make a difference in an otherwise very well rounded and healthy diet. Besides, he prefers hibiscus leaves any day of the week.
