@Oxalis thank you so much- Gib's my first-ever baby redfoot, and I miss him every single day, all day. I never thought I could get that involved, and love a tort so very much.
@crabby-J Thanks so much- Gibby went from adorable, perfect, cute baby to a magnificent juvenile before he died at 3 years old. This picture of him in his bath was when he was a little less than a year old. He was always a "yawner" which always made our hearts melt. :>)
@Anyfoot Thank you so much for looking and commenting. After losing Gibby far too young, without any clear explanation from the vet who was "treating" him, it really helps me to know there are others out there like you and the people on this post who know torts, and understand my heartache and sense of the hole in my heart that I doubt will ever completely heal. Gib was my little bright light-angel, every day.
@Prairie Mom Yes! He was a song and my heart, and every day his little baby antics and mannerisms were a delight. I like the opera comment, thank you- made me smile!
@Oxalis Thank you for asking! We had rescued two others prior to Gibson's death. We'd had them and were attending to their numerous health issues when he passed away. We just have the two little sibs now.
