It would be better if it had been posted under Introductions, General Discussion or under the Sulcata section. More members will see it there. Especially members who live in California. Will you keep him inside the house in a enclosure or outside in a enclosure. It would make a difference because the outside enclosure would need to be insulated and heat and light source. Sulcata's do not hibernate or brumate and need to stay at least 80°. They cannot live in their burrow all winter.
