This reminds me of my Mom and my redfoot hatchling Gibby. My mom, though, was in hospice care when she first met Gibson and they bonded immediately. He climbed up in her lap, looked at her, tucked up and fell asleep. We had to put her hand on his shell because she was mostly paralyzed by that point, but then she took a nap with Gibby- they were so cute together and it is a happy memory for our entire family after she passed away.
@Mantissa3 I'm so sorry for your loss. My mother is partially paralyzed as well due to massive stroke 15 years ago. She just loves Darwin to death. Treats him like a dog lol The funny thing is Darwin truly acts as if she is happy to be around my mom and is gentle with her and not like a bulldozer with me? It's crazy!
