I keep reading about humidity and does a russian need a high level? I can't even imagine how with an open table set up and winter here in utah could make a high humidity possible. I feel so sorry for him. He looks miserable.
For the last two days Walter won't eat. I put him in his soak but I can't be sure that he's drinking. Does he look dehydrated or anything? All he does is sit in his basking spot. He also only a couple of times this week ( that I know of) has done this weird sound like an annoying yapping...
I totally agree that I was also that mom buying a tort for my kids. I think what frustrated me the most was the fact that I had been in his shoes and I wish there had been someone to say "whoa! Slow down young lady and let's make sure you're prepared to bring this little guy home!" I don't...
Well luckily due to my being terrified of confrontation I was very nice the way I said it so as not to offend the girl working there, really she isn't to blame here, nor the man looking at them. I went on to the other isle and listened to them talking and then I fumed. It's true that being rude...
I'm shopping with the kids at an open air shopping mall. To get warm I stepped in here. There is a guy looking into a tank with five Russians in it. He is wanting to get one and talking to the teenager working here about how should he take care of it. They are taking about it sharing a "tank"...
I didn't check out the link from Tom yet (but I sure am going to) but I will just add my little bit. During the entire summer I kept my russian Walter out in the yard with the little mobile fence thing. We had a huge dandelion problem and so I would move him around the yard with his mobile hour...
Thanks for all the good advice. I do still have some pumpkins next to my front door for decor. Day after Thanksgiving, note AFTER Thanksgiving, comes the Christmas garb so I can do like suggested and cut them up and freeze them. I can do them like I did baby food in the ice cube tray so it's...
So, the question I have, I hope I'm not alone here, can Walter eat canned pumpkin provided there isn't any salt etc added? If he can then how much, as in should it be only once treat sized? I don't want the poor guy to be totally left out, you know the reptile disease at the table is kind of...
Ugh! Too hot, too cold... Pretty soon I'm just moving in with Walter. Too bad there isn't someone trying to make me feel just right. 'Hey Walter! Yeah you under the basking lamp. Scoot over because I'm coming in!'
