Hi I have a 7 year old russian tortoise and I'm currently using coco coir. It is expensive and I was wondering if there was a cheaper alternative other than sand and dirt. Please help thanks!
Oh wow that's beautiful! How do you keep from animals from geting in? And I go to school when it's warm so I don't feel comfortable just leaving him in there when I go to school. Like what if he flips over or gets eaten
Ok so I have an indoor enclosure for my russian tortoise. I live in NY and I would love to give him an outdoor enclosure but I'm scared it will get too cold or that raccoons or wild cats (we have many in my neighborhood) will dig in and get him. I need assistance and if there was a way to eat...
Munch
Not to e a burden, but gravel isn't the best choice because with a tiny little tort like that, even if he/she eats a little bit it could clog up his/ her intestines. So changing the substrate to coco coir will work better
Ok so I have a Russian tortoise. He is roughly 6 years old. He is an adult. I wanted to go to a vet to get a check up just to see how everything is going and stuff but how much do they cost usually just for a check up? Please answer!
