What if they do it all alone? Snappy has been bobbing his head a bit lately and was wondering why he was. Is there any other reason they do it?

Ya looks good, I just switched to a dirt/aspen bedding mixture and our russian seems to like it and we also planted some organic garden seeds and it is making it look so natural and also give him some food down the road a little bit.

We have a half log cut out from Petco, our Russian uses it quite a bit and doesn't move it around.

He has been pretty good since I gave him a new spot to dig nice and deep over by the light. Its kinda funny to see him burrowed in there with his butt in the air! We have made the sides so he cannot get out. It's pretty neat seeing all the plants come up and make it look more natural there...

Looks good! I wish it was nice here in Minnesota so I could get something for my Russian outside! Do you need some type of bottom or have the sides go deep into the ground? Some people have said the torts can dig and get out. Don't know for sure though I am new to all this. Great job though!
