A lifelong admirer of all things scaly; I used to ask my parents for a boa constrictor every night, when I was 3 years old.

Fell in love with tortoises when I was in high school; my first tort was a Greek, Dora, who was painfully dehydrated before I even got her. She lived 3 years, and loved apples and strawberries. I was heartbroken after that. Nearly 10 years later, I met Penny. The moment I laid eyes on her, I knew she was my tortoise-- and she knew I was her human. She's let me pet her head since she was a tiny hatchling, and would come out of her shell at the sound of my voice. She's my baby girl; my princess. ...and I am her doting mommy that is wrapped around her, err, finger..? Sure.
The only thing she loves more than getting a rise out of people is chasing cats-- namely Waldo, our super-fluffy Persian.
