That is what I figured. There wouldn't be any heat for the sweater to retain, right? Im guessing it is just for show or to maybe hold in heat packs?

How do you feel about putting a sweater or cozy on your tort? I know these claim to help with keeping them warm but does it actually? Do they like it? Koopa, 4 months old!

Showing my little addition, cherry head tortoise 4 months old! Telling you I am obsessed with her. Finally decided on Koopa as her name. Excited to be a part of the tortoise family

Wow he is a strong guy!! I feel much better about being a tortoise mum :) your little ones are so cute, floating around! We have a tub that is never used, I will be sure to clean it though.

At least with hurricanes we have a bit of warning. I am sure it will be nothing large! I just worry about Louisiana, they are underneath it. Are heat packs advised for warmth?

Ha, shopping mall! I could not imagine people's faces. Unfortunately, out in the public is pretty common. I have seen it quite a bit and always thought it was dangerous but I never assume. My girl has plenty of ground time and pen time though she prefers to sleep!

Oh my tort poo! She has not pooped yet (3rd day) and that I have seen. She did however pee quite a bit. I have been following feeding instructions as given to be by Vickie at Tortoise yard. Is there a quantity of food that is best for 3 month old? I would hate to over/under feed.
