I just recently added it in March. I've been crunching it up on top of the greens and leaving some chunks but they wouldn't touch it. Just in the last few days I caught them both eating it. I think it takes time and they will choose greens over it but they do eat it.

Yep, I put my food right at the opening to the hide. I have food available all day long and I rarely handle except to move them outside/inside or to their water for soaking.
