I have great news!! I might be getting a Russian tortoise!! A lady came into my work and is needing a home for her Russian. She is just giving it with everything. Free!! Better yet, the day she needs it gone is my birthday!! Wish me luck that this goes well. I am calling her tomorrow to talk...

I actually have had a corn snake in the past. I'm looking to move on to either ball pythons or a red-tail boa (which I'll still need a bigger cage eventually for the red tail). I'm definitely going to have to figure out an outdoor enclosure.

Thanks guys!! I am definitely switching to a book case when the tortoise is a little older. I got the 40 breeder to be a multipurpose. I am going to use the 40 until I get the bookcase set up, and then the 40 is going to be used for a snake possibly :)

Honestly, it depends on the store. The Petco right near me has a guy just for the reptiles who takes AMAZING care of them and knows more than anyone I know (I have double checked everything he has told me and he was always correct). Granted, there are places that take worse care. I personally...
